CHANGE, Inc Family Medical Care is hiring FT and PT Dental Assistants

Position Details:
• Job Title: Dental Assistant
• Location: Newell
• Work Schedule: varies by location, no weekends

Qualifications for Newell FT
• High school Graduate or GED at minimum, with willingness to learn chairside duties.
• Experience in a Dental Office is preferred.
• Excellent organization, critical thinking, communication, interpersonal and multi-tasking skills, excellent documentation, and computer skills, knowledgeable of care plans and must have the ability to grasp new technology quickly.
• Applicant must be able to work well with diverse patients and staff and promote a positive image for CHANGE, Inc.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications for Steubenville PT
• High school Graduate or GED at minimum, education through a Dental Assisting program preferred but not required.
• Licensing in OH required.
• Experience in a Dental Office preferred.
• Excellent organization, critical thinking, communication, interpersonal and multi-tasking skills, excellent documentation, and computer skills, knowledgeable of care plans and must have the ability to grasp new technology quickly.
• Applicant must be able to work well with diverse patients and staff and promote a positive image for CHANGE, Inc.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities for both Steubenville PT or Newell FT
• Check in/out patients for Dental appointments.
• Front desk duties such as answering phones, scanning, assisting patients,
• Assist Dentist during Dental appointments when needed (setting up room, preparing and maintain dental equipment, assisting during procedures, cleaning room after appointment)
