Change, Inc. announced that the Summer Food Program, sponsored by the U. S. Department of Agriculture served 5,088 children ages 18 and under and distributed 1,568 breakfast and 3,520 lunches at 6 different sites throughout Brooke and Hancock counties from June 8 to July 30

Each year the USDA partners with local organizations like Change, Inc. to provide free meals for children when school is out for the summer.  The program responds to the community’s need for nutrition meals for children in low income areas while school is out. This is the 15th year for the Change, Inc. Summer Food Program. For more information contact Brandi Radvanksy at 304-797-7733 or changeinc.org.
